Ian Holland praised Leicestershire's collective performance after the Foxes dismantled Somerset by 164 runs in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup, but admitted the relentless county schedule is leaving players "running on fumes".
Leicestershire made it back-to-back victories in the competition with a dominant display at the Uptonsteel County Ground, posting 289-8 before bowling Somerset out for just 125 in 30 overs. The victory keeps the Foxes firmly in the hunt for the knockout stages after another impressive all-round performance.
While Holland was delighted with the result, he believes the demands placed on county cricketers are becoming increasingly difficult to manage.
