Leicestershire travel to the South Coast with much to ponder as they seek their first win of the season amid a disappointing East Midlands derby defeat to Nottinghamshire last weekend where they were on the back-foot from the off, though showed much welcomed battle signs.

The opening bats are generally holding their own in Division One but at three and four, there are question marks on both selection and the best place for the skipper Ian Holland to bat. The option is there to bring Sol Budinger into the side at first wicket down and leave out Lewis Hill who is struggling for consistent runs.
