Leicestershire County Cricket Club return to Uptonsteel Grace Road on Friday looking to bounce back from another disappointing defeat as Yorkshire make the trip to Leicester for the latest round of Rothesay County Championship Division One action.

The Foxes were beaten by Essex last time out despite showing plenty of fight, particularly through Lewis Hill, whose magnificent century almost dragged his side back into contention after they had found themselves under pressure for much of the contest.

Ultimately though, Essex's quality proved decisive as they completed a six-wicket victory and moved to the top of the Division One table.
