Dutchie to Captain Foxes in Red-Ball Cricket

Leicestershire have appointed Ian Holland as red-ball captain for the first block of games, filling in for absent Club Captain Peter Handscomb, who will miss the whole of the 2026 season.
Holland took on the role late last season when Handscomb returned home to play for his domestic side in Australia and was there to lift the Division Two County Championship title alongside Head Coach Alfonso Thomas.
The American International joined the Foxes permanently in the winter of 2024 from Hampshire, having previously played on loan at Grace Road during the summer of that season and has quickly become a key player for the newly-promoted side.
